Hiring Salary/Salary Range:
$9.50 to $12.00 an hour
Parking and Transportation Services, a division the University of South Florida’s Administrative Services department is responsible for the overall management of the Bull Runner Transit System and parking facilities and services. We are committed to providing guidance and assistance to the USF community and our guests with all their parking and transportation needs in a professional and courteous manner.
This temporary, full-time (40 hours a week) position is
responsible for safely transporting passengers from one location to another on predetermined route at the Tampa Campus, allows those authorized to board bus and applies passenger guidelines.

is responsible for safely
ansporting passengers from one location to another; keeping accurate ridership counts; utilizing the 2-way radio and mobile data terminal for status and location; completing daily paperwork such as pre-trip and mileage logs; operating ADA equipment; cleaning the interior of the bus, maintaining all vehicle logs; giving information to riders and assisting where needed.
Two years of experience driving buses, or passenger vans; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Possession of a current Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement and no air brake restriction is required upon employment.
